The Cowboys seem to have lost their excitement over playing football. The defense has been horrible ever since Greg Ellis went down. I think I may be kind in saying Seattle will beat them by 17. As a die-hard Cowboy fan I hope I'm wrong, but at this point, and based on their performance over the last five games, I just don't see them in the win column during the play-offs. The play-offs require a "second gear" for a team that usually kicks in about the last two games of the season, and the Cowboys don't have it.

The Eagles have that second gear and have been flying high, but they are a poor play-off team. I look for the Giants to break their hearts with a late rally.

Not taking anything away from the Detroit Lions, but they weren't the best of teams this year. This past Sunday, Dallas gave Detroit everything they had and still came up short. What looked to be a promising Cowboy season, has yet to be another let down.

Hopefully the trend continues. The last two years both lower seeds have won on the road to open the NFC playoffs. Go Dallas at least.

Itll be tough for them, of all the places to play a playoff game, Seattle has one of the strongest homefield advantages.

I dont think it would be a shocker for the Giants to beat Philly, but one team can only have so many flaws.
